It doesn't look like much but there are about 140 bulbs there that need to be planted. What was I thinking?!
I started out with my little trowel since I suffer from CRS (Can't Remember Stuff) It wasn't long before I remembered that you can't dig anywhere without encountering rocks.
Some of todays haul. One will make a perfect stepping stone and another is very pretty, or will be once I hose it off.
The crimson sage is still going strong. It's planted in with the beebalm and I think I'll plant more here next year.
Since I suffer from CRS, I took several pictures and uploaded them to Flickr. They have a neat tool that allows you to add notes to your pictures. You can see the notes for the last picture here. Just move your curser over the picture.
Today I planted Red Storm Lilies, Tulips, Daffodils and some hardy Glads.

Thank you for visiting my blog. I love all your pictures! You have a beautiful garden! I hope to one day afford to buy a house and plant my life away into a garden.
ReplyDeleteHow cool! I love the note trick on Flickr. Thank you! I haven't actually uploaded any pictures yet, but I signed up for an account a while back. That's a great way to remember what you planted where. So sorry the critters ate some of your bulbs. Nasty beasts.
ReplyDeleteRocks make planting bulbs really hard! You did a good job planting that many :) Should be a lovely display come Spring.
