Postcards from the Ozarks

Here are some pictures from our picnic at Bull Shoals – White River State Park in Arkansas. We had the picnic area at Big Spring all to ourselves!

Having a great time! Wish you were here!

  1. Oh wow, what a beautiful place to have a picnic! I would sit on that swing all day long just looking at the lake! I've just caught up with your last few posts and I so enjoyed seeing all the great pictures...sounds and looks like you're having a terrific vacation:-) xox

  2. It looks so peaceful and relaxing! That swing is definately appealing. We miss you here but don't rush home, enjoy!

  3. We have a swing just like that in our backyard...wish it looked out over a lake...sigh!!

  4. Oh, I want to just sit on the swinging bench and relax...beautiful!

(Oh, and I know you appreciate old photos and memories...stop on by if you get a chance!)

  5. We have been there several times, Apple!! I hope the record heat had broken by the time you guys got there!! (it was hot when we went Aug. 1!!)

  6. I love that picture of you and John. The park looks so peaceful. Isn't it great to have a picnic area all to yourselves? We did that once in Letchworth State Park. It was gloriously peaceful and quiet in those gorgeous surroundings.
I really like the title of this post :)
