I spent the weekend moving my files from my old hard drive and everything seems to be working fine. John is going to add more ram so that it is a little faster. So far I am quite pleased.

My New Toy
When my old computer died John set about finding me another. I admit I never would have even looked at this one because it is a tablet rather than a laptop but he found a great deal so I told him OK. I don't know if I'll ever use the screen to write on, I'm not even sure I know why I'd want to, but maybe some great use will present itself.

ReplyDeleteMy thoughts are echoing Pea's. Chuckling at John's comment...and wondering what a tablet is. I didn't understand this sentence: "I don't know if I'll ever use the screen to write on". Could you explain please?
ReplyDeleteWe have a few "smart boards" at school this year....maybe they're a similar thing. The teacher writes on the small screen with a special "pen" and it shows up on a projection screen. They're a neat contraption.
Anyway, congratulations on your new computer. I know you'll enjoy yourself playing with it.
