I picked up my new glasses yesterday. I can't quite get the hang of them yet. John had no trouble adjusting to his. I had to take them off when I went to cross the road to get the mail earlier for fear of stumbling. They give me the most trouble when I'm trying to see my computer screen.

I've always loved that song:-) Bifocals are very hard to get used to at times...I remember my mom having the worst time with them. If you still have trouble adjusting to them in a couple of days, I would contact the optometrist and tell him/her. Apple, thank you so much for your words of comfort over the loss of my SIL, they were very much appreciated!! Hope your enjoying your vacation days:-) xox
ReplyDeleteCan't remember if you have bifocals are trifocals, but either way it takes a while to adjust. It took me much longer than my husband, and we got ours at the same time.
ReplyDeleteAs Pea says if they keep bothering you they may need a minor adjustment.
:)
This doesn't bode well as I'm thinking of getting some bifocals. I'm tired of juggling two pairs of "reader-type" glasses all day - one for the computer screen and one for non-computer reading. But I don't want to be dizzy! Hope you adjust soon.
