Christmas Presents!

What's so funny? Scroll down to the videos in the post below. They thought the snowball fight was hilarious! Forget presents, they could have watched that all afternoon.

Sprout was not in the mood to have her picture taken with her cousins but I guess 5 out 6 isn't bad. Nikki, Alex, Twig, Mike & Liz.

OK, maybe they did want presents after all.

My Mom got them each a book with matching stuffed animal and they were thrilled.

Mike and Alex giving Nana her gift. A neat, scented stuffed bear that Angie had made.

We gave each child a toy, some craft stuff, a book and clothes. They seemed most pleased by the craft items. One little thing that I picked up as an afterthought for Liz was just what she always wanted.

As always, we had too much food. The kids had a blast and John and I are ready for a long winters nap!

  1. I love all your family photos Apple. Those grandchildren are so cute. Looks like wonderful fun.
I missed our boys at Christmas, but we had a great time with the girls and their men. NY City was lots of fun (but I wouldn't want to live there!).
We'll see the grandkids next weekend if the weather co-operates.
    We're ready for a long winter's nap too :)

  2. Watching the kids belly laugh over and over at that little snow fight was the best part of the day! We had such a good time, thanks for sharing your kids and grandkids with me!

  3. The photos were wonderful - this is the kind of Christmas I remember from my own childhood, tumbling around in glee with my cousins... wish that could happen for my kids' generation but too many states and miles are involved.

I'm still trying to catch up after being away for 2 weeks - Happy New Year, Apple! It looks like you're having plenty of snow, so I'll also add a hope that the roads are cleared whenever you have to get behind the wheel of the schoolbus.
